Watching a journalism commentary about how the island of Kiribati is sinking because climate change is rising the sea level. The phrase that caught my attention the most is that the Kiribati natives are the first climate change refugees. Oh really? Let me tell you how egypt started... once there was a lush green land full of animals plants and nomadic people... then the Sahara desert replaced all that... and the nomads settled at the Nile. Ladies and gentlemen... the first known climate change refugees (discounting ice age) ... they did rather well for themselves.
