Watching all the buzz and adrenaline filled pregame intensity. I cant help but to be filled with nostalgia. It was never much for a small town Kansas high school team. Although I was fortunate enough to play in some big games with some of my best friends that went to war beside me. Football may not be that important in the mass scheme of things. But the values it instills; sacrifice, continuity, etc. All allow this sport to bind the nations population more than politics or whatever other socio-economic category you care to compare it to. If nothing else. Enjoy the beauty of it all.
