Watching last week tonight on a weekly basis is by far the best and easiest way to stay decently well-informed on current events. I can honestly say that its significantly better than either the daily show or Colbert in terms of handling political content, if not in terms of comedy (although its also pretty hilarious too usually). Life hack for extempers/extemp coaches (if indeed Im still friends with any): any extemper who watches the show regularly and makes sure they understand all of the content will be better informed than the average extemper on the national circuit.
