Watching part of the 700 Club this morning ~ they were sharing stories of miracles. I struggled to hold back tears when I woman said, God heard us. He really heard us. I held my breath for a moment. Doesnt God hear us all of the time? I mean really hear us every moment of every day? YES, HE DOES! Miracles happen even when God answers, No or Wait. I think the fact that we put so much emphasis on Gods miracles in the Yess make it hard for us to keep faith when Gods plans involve something else. I think those stories need to be featured as well. Because if I didnt believe that ... then I would have to believe that God didnt hear me during my prayers for Patricks earthly healing ... or for any healing for anyone else I have prayed for. I would have to believe that I didnt believe enough or didnt do something right ~ so God shut his ears to my voice. God never shuts his ears to our voices. We are his children. Just as a mothers ears and heart are set to her newborn babys cry ~ that small sound that awakes us from the middle of a deep sleep ~ God listens even more closely than that. Keeping our faith ... leading a path for others to build theirs ... there is a miracle in that. #oneofHischildren #awarriorswalkonfire
