Watching so many of the JFK films I am struck by the appearance of a figure of a woman, seemingly old, who is seen to be walking in the reverse direction of the crowds rushing toward the president, who has just been shot. She/he is wearing a non- descript brown suit, and a hat covering a halo of white hair. She walks deliberately, slowly away. This is so reminiscent of the scene in The Godfather when Al Pacino has just killed the Irish cop and the mafioso, Salozzo. He has been instructed by Clemenza to walk exactly this way. If I were so old that I could not move faster, I would have stood in one spot, dumbstruck. This could fit the bystander theory.
