Watching some of the earlier episodes of Law and order , I couldnt help but notice how some of the guest stars would re appear in later episodes as another character. This got me to thinking just how many times this was done on the old Dragnet TV show by Jack Webb. One week someone would be a victim, a couple of shows later they were the criminal...From what I read Webb really worked with a Shoe string budget.
