Watching the Jazz At Lincoln Center program on BET Jazz every day after school was a huge part of why I dove deeper into music and the horn than what the band program asked of me as a 13-year old. I always said I was gonna get there, and I let that goal go by the wayside when I got to Capital. Starting today, I am putting that card back in my hand. Sometimes its good to shake things up a bit!
