Watching the documentary, Inequality For All, and its infuriating and frightening. The middle class is necessary, as are unions, increasing workers wages, and making it easier for people to afford & attend college -- all of these things are necessary for a functioning and vibrant economy. But yet, some people are tricked into thinking that multi-millionaires & billionaires are the ones who need the tax breaks and the help (subsidies, bail-outs, etc). Wrong. So wrong. Executive pay keeps on going up, while average worker pay keeps going down. And that, right there is the problem. Without the middle class (and lower) spending money, the economy is going to slow down. It has slowed down. The über-wealthy sit on their money, they dont spend it. So, essentially trickle-down economics, or Reaganomics, whatever you want to call it, is complete and utter B.S.! Why do people still believe such nonsense? - Christie
