Watching the movie Interstellar really made me think, why on earth would an alien race open up a wormhole in earths proximity for man to travel through to find another world because the earth was dying? The whole precept of this story is steeped in complete human arrogance! It is akin to knowingly sleeping with someone with Aids. Why would any intelligent, sentient alien species allow the human virus to corrupt, violate and desecrate other worlds? The more likely scenario was presented in the movie Prometheus where the Alien race who created us, quickly realised their mistake, and set about rectifying it by sending a bio engineered predatory species to eradicate us. Certainly much more logical and rational. Makes complete sense to me. The movie Interstellar was a really bad movie in so many ways. Totally fundamentally flawed and hyper unrealistic. Such an arrogant movie, like most of the genre that come out of America. I find it amusing and ironic that so many people are terrified of the notion of Aliens, yet the truth is, aliens have far more to fear in us.
