Watching the news of late, I was thinking how short our memories (as nations) really is. The Sudetanland fell to a madman, closely followed by Czechoslovakia just over 70 years ago while the rest of the world stood idly by. Not much has changed in that time as we now see the Crimea fall to a different madman, soon to be followed by possibly Ukraine. Innocent people die while the rich nations of the world do nothing more than watch their useless economic sanctions do nothing. France is still in the process of closing a huge arms deal with Russia while speaking of sanctions out of the other side of their mouth. If this thing gets worse, maybe well see another Vichy style government again. So much for the unich organization known as Nato and all the bluff and bluster its members like to emit. Just saying....
