Water Service Repair Advisory to Residents of Grove Place and Part of West 28th Street from the Bayonne Municipal Utilities Authority. On Wednesday, November 5, the Municipal Utilities Authority will repair a leak by a fire hydrant on West 28th Street. As a result of this repair work, water will be shut off on Wednesday for some period of time between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The shut-off will affect residents of Grove Place and the portion of West 28th Street between Broadway and Avenue C. This repair schedule will allow families to have water service for breakfast in the morning until 10:00 a.m. Repairs will take place while many people are at work or school. Water service will be restored by 3:00 p.m., in time for dinner on Wednesday evening. Thank you for your patience as we repair the leak in your neighborhood.
