Water Supply Issues continue at East Pattaya Village..!! 250 houses at an East Pattaya Village have reportedly been without a government water supply for more than 10 years and residents there have had enough. On Wednesday, villagers contacted the local media to highlight the ongoing problem which began more than 10 years ago at the Pattaya Land & House Estate which was constructed 20 years ago. When the village was constructed, an external water supply was available until it became non-functional. At this point, water trucks were used by villagers who would pay as much as 2,000 Baht per month each, 4 months ago the Nongprue Municipal Authorities are reported to have approved a 4 Million Baht Budget to fix the water supply problems, but, as yet, no action has been taken to begin the work necessary to restore water to the village. Villagers are also angry at the state of the main road into the village which was partially excavated 6 months ago and remains in a dangerous state. Residents hope that by highlighting their ongoing problems in the local media, something will be done. We wish them luck and hope their issues are resolved at the earliest opportunity.
