Water shortage rock Polokwane There is water scarcity in D A Limpopo Polokwaneane, each household is limited to 20 kL per month, consuming more will result in high surcharges. This is as a results of the fact that Lepelle Water Board is battling to deliver the agreed volumes, which is 27Ml per day and 24 ML per day from the Olifants Sand and Ebenezer plants respectively. The municipality is also supplying 13.5 ML per day from own source- Dap Naude dam. Another contributing factor is the power failures at the different plants. Every Rate payer must by end June 2014 go in to Municipality and update their details specifically E-mail addresses, as Statements will only be sent vie email as from July 2014 (unless specifically asked and applied for hard copy).
