Water turned to wine Do you regret the things that happened to you in the past because it ruined your life? It caused you so much pain? It destroyed a lot of relationship? It made you weak and you have been devalued? Most of us would say, “If” I can only turn back the time, probably I may have decided this or that. Some of us may even question why did God allowed it to happen when he even said he will protect us from pain? I also came to the point of questioning God’s existence before, but I was wrong. God actually said in his words that his plans are to prosper us and not to harm us. You will never understand this unless you have accepted your past and thank it for what you are today. If not with our past, we will never be effective in our ministry today. Experience is the best teacher! Our past is our treasure, our hidden gems. We may have been very weak, and very sinful, but when we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us! It is thru our weaknesses that the love of God was demonstrated in our life. Examine your life today, how is it compared before? See! Your life is like water turned into wine! The Lord has brought you from darkness to light. Your bitter past was allowed by God for a very sweet purpose. Your life had improved and will continue improving as long as you follow Jesus’ lead. (Credits to Tita Marilou Ascalon)
