Watercolor Boot Camp Workshop G&B Cultural Center April 6 - 9, 2015 4 DAY WORKSHOP This intensive four day workshop in the foundational techniques and methods of watercolor painting. Dmitri Wright will present step by step approach to watercolor materials and methods. The curriculum will cover watercolor wash drawing, glazing, dry brush, flat and graduated wash techniques. Proper use and care of water color paper and watercolor brushes will be covered in detail. Introduction to the timeline of watercolor from the work of Albert Durer, the Father of Watercolor to the likes of Milton Avery and the Abstract Expressionists. At the conclusion of this workshop each student will have a better understanding of watercolor as a versatile fine art form for plein air and studio expression, and for an effective method of self expression.
