Waterloo Mayor Buck Clark and Cedar Falls Mayor Jon T. Crews have both proclaimed November Cedar Valley United Way Month. We are very excited to receive the honor! The Proclamations each read: Whereas, Cedar Valley United Way serves people in a 30-mile radius of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metropolitan area; and Whereas, the citizens of Cedar Valley receive great benefits from the many education, income and health programs provided by its health and human services agencies; and Whereas, Cedar Valley United Way brings together businesses, government agencies, community organizations and committed individuals in a united effort to fund health and human service agencies in the Cedar Valley; and Whereas, the funding raised in the Cedar Valley for United Way support organizations and charities for the benefit of its citizens and the improvement of their quality of life.
