Waterloo Region under Special Weather Statement Areas of dense fog possible tonight into Saturday morning. The combination of two moist airmasses separated by a front that is slowly pushing southwest across the regions has set the stage for plenty of fog patches to affect the regions tonight into Saturday morning. There is potential for the fog to become quite dense with visibility being reduced to less than 200 metres at times. Motorists should be prepared for near zero visibility in areas of dense fog, and allow extra time to reach their destination. The fog will gradually lift Saturday morning as the front tries to move slowly back towards the northeast.
