Watershed is a three part story of how water connects us all and builds communities, and offers a glimpse into why these groups of people are drawn to the water. It takes us to St. Petersburg, Florida, to see and experience the life of a fishing boat captain, where the life at sea is a choice. It takes us to New York’s whitewater in the Adirondack Mountains, where kayakers gather annually to challenge and ride through the Moose River. And it takes us to New York City, where a whitewater kayaker’s newfound appreciation for sea kayaking is birthed through circumnavigating the island of Manhattan.
