Way back in 1974 (when I was 9) my family stayed in a holiday house in Bateau Bay for the 2 weeks of the May school holidays and I have always wondered exactly where that house was and if it is still standing. Browsing on Google maps just now I took a punt on a house I thought had a similar roofline and going to Street View I discovered I had found the house! When we stayed there it was a 3 bedroom fibro cottage with what I thought at the time was the bees knees - A BREAKFAST BAR!!! The Google photo is from 2010.
