Way off my usual posts~~happen to catch the last part of the movie on TV this morning called "Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genious". At one point in the show,the writer/ announcer,O.B. Keeler, makes a comment that is astounding---whether he really said it, or it was just written into the script, it certainly made an impression on me. After Bobby was chastised for playing golf for the mere love of the sport without endorsements,Mr. Keeler says,"Money, it will ruin sports." That was 1930...,what a sad and prophetic phrase that has obviously come true.
