Way to go debunkers, its great that you all took the time to tell people posting a disclaimer is a waste of time (kinda of an oxymoron). Heres the thing. FB is now a publicly traded company. Its not just a cool social media site anymore. Its a very sophisticated tool for the Feds, the CIA, the Homeland security, local and state police, corporations, advertisers, etc. It runs facial recognition, collects data via complicated algorithms that can gather Info on you such as what you say, what you post, what you like and dislike. All VERY valuable information. The problem I see isnt whether or not its a public forum. Thats obvious. If you want to be private stay off social media. However, whats happening is that FB is now SELLING and profiting all that info to third parties. Not just your likes and dislikes but also your political and religious affiliations, your phone numbers, addresses, shit who knows maybe your CC info too idk. So if you feel like posting a disclaimer, post it anyway, who cares. Took two seconds to repost and were already screwed so it probably doesnt hurt. Ps dont rely on snopes to be your intellectual guide. Its owned now by the same companies and corporations that own the media so who knows how accurate those findings are anyway. My opinion is do what you want. If it makes u feel better do it, might now help much but you never know. I rather be safe than sorry although it seems in regards to social media no one is safe anymore so.... Who knows! Lol. In the end, were all probably gonna have to delete this thing anyway so for now lets use it to share Important info, promote health and positivity and stimulate each other to think for ourselves. I can care less what Im supposed to do or not do, I do what I want.
