Wayback Machine: Heres the 1992 Winner, back when this contest was much less formal. (I basically said, I really like this song; unless I hear a better one this year, this one will do. That was my formula 1989-1994. Only one winner back then--times were so much simpler. :-) ) Other than a minor tweak (i.e., changing the category names and eliminating cross-filng) in 2004, Ive had the current format since 1999.
