Womens Photography Collective show, Mirrors and Windows, reveals strange windows to the exterior world juxtaposed with soul-searching mirrors that explore the inner depths of imagination, emotion and the human condition. As the collective evolves, creative interpretations of themes and supportive critiques remain constants. The literal and figurative images in this show demonstrate the symbiosis resulting from the free-wheeling discussions and the individuals photographs that are presented. About the Artists: Through Her Eyes is a womens photo collective based in Winnipeg that has been meeting regularly since September 2012 for field trips, image reviews and peer learning. We encourage each other to experiment with the camera and the creation of images. Through lively discussions and encouragement, we continue to be surprised by the joy of developing our individual and collective visions.
