We Are In Control Of Your Party---Lagos PDP mocks APC; Woos Aggrieved APC Members The Lagos State Chapter of PDP has described as laughable, but good Omen, the statement credited to Mr Joe Igbokwe, Lagos State APC spokesman, that the PDP in Lagos State has infiltrated its ranks and now sponsoring a group within APC in order to destabilise the Party. The APC spokesman was said to have played down the relevance of a group in its fold known as New Lagos Movement, asserting that the members of the group are PDP members sponsored to cause confusion in Lagos APC. It would be recalled that consequent upon the outcomes of elected party officials of APC at Ward, LG and State levels, the New Lagos Movement filed a Suit at the Lagos High Court challenging the outcomes, whilst also periodically go on street protests to condemn the processes and results of the said Congresses. Though the PDP denies unequivocally any involvement in the activities of the said APC group, it however welcomes the development and salutes the group for exposing the undemocratic tendencies within the APC. It describes them as true agents of change who are indeed welcomed in the PDP in the quest to displace the APC in the 2015 general elections. We are excited to know that the APC flanks can now be penetrated. It means that the APC is empty in Lagos State. By accusing PDP of infiltrating their Party, they have accepted our superiority in Lagos state. This is good Omen. We also salute the New Lagos Movement. Though we sincerely do not have any dealings with them, we however welcome them. For APC in Lagos State, we are not surprised that they are again avoiding the facts but shifting blame and attempting to blackmail PDP.
