We Are One Body In Christ The Body of Christ is made up of many members from all over the world. When we came to Jesus (Yeshua) for forgiveness of our sins through His blood, we became members one of another. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christs body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Dont just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Romans 12:4-9 (NLT). Some people may have more than one gift; but every gift is in us for the edification of the Body of Christ. We go to a building that we call a church; but, we are the church of Jesus (Yeshua). We are not a particular denomination, but the church itself meeting in a building. Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who have the gift of leadership, those who speak in unknown languages. 1 Corinthians 12:28 (NLT). God gives gifts to all who come to Christ. Then, Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34 (KJV). God uses people of no reputation to amaze the world and spread the glorious gospel of Jesus (Yeshua): God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. 1 Corinthians 1:28 (NLT). In every country of this world, God is raising up apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and helpers to take the message of salvation to the world. A leg cannot walk without the body; neither can an arm go off and work by itself. Christian ministers should be joining forces with others because a body can only work properly when all parts are in place. Are we all apostles? Are we all prophets? Are we all teachers? Do we all have the power to do miracles? Do we all have the gift of healing? Do we all have the ability to speak in unknown languages? Do we all have the ability to interpret unknown languages? Of course not! 1 Corinthians 12:29-30 (NLT). Let us all join together as a world wide body and team! Let the smaller churches join with the larger churches for support. Let Bishops rise up, as called by God, and bring help and support to the smaller churches. Churches should be giving tithes to the smaller churches for support. This will bring Gods blessings and growth to all the churches. God bless you all in Jesus name.
