We Didnt Flout Our Party Directive - Ojudu A member of the Senate Committee on Defence and Army and a member of All Progressives Congress, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has explained that his action and that of his colleagues who were part of the screening of the Service Chiefs was not tantamount to flouting their partys directive. In a statement in Abuja, Ojudu explained further that the party never instructed that they should not attend the screening, but that they should protest if things were not done right. He quoted the APC Interim Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in todays edition of The Punch where he (Lai) said: “People don’t seem to understand our directive. It is not for them to boycott but to frustrate the process if the right things are not done. If they don’t attend how will our voice be heard?” Ojudu said the APC leadership in the Senate also directed the legislators to push the issue of neutrality of the military in the coming elections. He added that there is too much discipline in the APC for them to flout party directives, adding however that the party would always act in the interest of Nigerians. My people which one we go believe o?
