We LOVE our horses....anyone have a quirky/challenging dressage horse? My gelding is one of the most suspicious horses I have ever met with ADHD. Ive had him since he was two (he is now 10). He doesnt spook at obvious things but rather obscure things bother him and once he gets excited its a lot of work to get him grounded again. You CANT clip him from the shoulder on up...even if hes sedated. I have tried right after a good sheath cleaning and teeth floating before. No how no way. He was quite a challenge when he was started and it took a while to get him solid because he has such a high sense of self preservation and flight instinct. I wouldnt trade him for anything however and I love him to pieces. He aint easy though lol. What stories do you have?
