We LOVE when locals take our tour and rediscover their own backyard. Thank you for your EXCELLENT review on TripAdvisor. “SOOO much fun!” 5 of 5 stars Being locals we didnt know if wed get much out of this experience, but we were so pleasantly surprised. Riding the back country roads on a scooter is a very different experience than riding in a car. It was almost like we were viewing the scenery for the first time, so we can only imagine how terrific this little adventure would be for true Lancaster County tourists. After a short but thorough safety orientation and small test run in the parking area, we headed out for our tour. At first we thought 3 hours would be way too long but if it hadnt been for the cold we would have easily enjoyed doubling it. We saw a beautiful covered bridge and visited an authentic Amish farm, stopping at each location for about 10-15 minutes. I felt completely safe, and my 13 year old son was perfectly fine riding on the back of my husbands scooter. Our guide Craig was a blast -- a great combination of competent and funny. Helpful tips: Bundle up! Even on a warmish Fall day it will be significantly colder on the scooter. Each scooter has a storage area under the seat (I think it was the seat) so you can stow small items. Enjoy!
