Kurmalliance is a small non-profit organization focused on protecting & preserving marine habitats for sea turtles through plastic clean up efforts & the Pluckfastic movement, which encourages the community to choose to refuse single use plastic products. They implement cleanup efforts in a biodiesel work-boat in the local waters of southern California. They deploy up and down the coast with a team of volunteers and clean up plastic trash, demonstrating that direct action makes a significant difference in the health of our ocean.
