We NEED YOUR HELP!! Needing Volunteers in the Savannah area!! Make a commitment to Comfort others... Hospice Advantage needs caring individuals willing to give 1 or 2 hours a week to brighten up someones day. Our patients live with life-limiting illnesses in their homes or facilities. Activities may include: Friendly conversation, doing puzzles or projects, reading, looking at pictures and reminiscing with a patient, sitting with a patient so caregivers can have personal time away from the house or light housekeeping. Training is provided along with ongoing support from our Volunteer Coordinator. As a hospice volunteer you are a valued member of our Family Support Team. Our mission is to provide superior end-of-life care distinguished by comfort and compassion for the whole family. Volunteers are an essential part of our philosophy of care that recognizes that those living with life-limiting illnesses deserve the support and compassion that hospice provides. Our volunteers are everyone from teens to working moms and senior citizens-but all have in common the desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
