We Remember... Buddhist monks lead a Chinese ceremony for #NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu, followed by a traditional police ceremony with eulogies led by a chaplain. The funeral comes the day after a somber wake. Mourners lined up for blocks on a cold, rainy day to pay their respects. The 32-year-old officer had served for seven years and was married just two months before he was killed along with partner Officer Rafael Ramos on December 20th. Their killer committed suicide. FBI director James Comey was the first to address mourners at the funeral of Detective Wenjian Liu in #NYC. Police become officers because they want to do good...they want to make ordinary life better. They do their jobs despite the danger to them. Liu was gunned down on December 20th, simply because he was a police officer. abc7news/news/funeral-being-held-for-nypd-officer/461141/
