We Took Gabriel to the pediatrician today because he developed blisters on his fingers on top of the rash covering his body. So he does not have petechiae, he has hand foot and mouth disease. The good news about this is it a viral illness which isnt going to require an antibiotic or other medicine nor a hospital stay which is always good. It may take about a week to go away or longer, the blisters may pop and become painful but so far hes been handling it like a champ. So its just another bump in the road but fortunately it has nothing to do with his heart or respiratory issues. So I definitely look on the bright side of things there. It could be worse. He has a cardiac clinic visit tomorrow and then his cath is coming up very soon, in the next few weeks. Until then we are just taking it day by day. Apparently from the videos I just posted he found his voice which is great for his developmental progress. Hes just been talking all day! I absolutely love it. Music to my ears! Thank you everyone for your prayers and support on this big journey.
