We Won’t Accept Illegal Take Over in Burkina Faso – President - TopicsExpress

We Won’t Accept Illegal Take Over in Burkina Faso – President Mahama Mr. President ...that is utterly nonsense!. are you afraid? please answer these questions because you are busy traveling and not paying enough attention to the masses..... 1) Are you walking in the shoes of ordinary Burkinabes that have been impoverished for the past 27 years.... 2) Are you feeling the pain and misery of the majority of the people who are struggling every day to find decent jobs to feed their families 3) Are you feeling the pains and misery of the majority of the people, who have been used, abused and discarded... 4) Are you feeling the pains and misery of the majority of the people who are living in abject poverty;drinking water from the same wells as goats and sheep, while the few elite amass wealth 5) Are you feeling the pains and misery when there is economy mismanagement, lack of opportunities, corruption and abuse of power.... Mr. President, I can go on and on....but this is a warning and lesson to you and any other future leaders whether it is from NPP, CPP or whoever and all other corrupt African leaders. The wind of change is coming and it is blowing from the south of Burkina Faso. You can constitutionally be protected, but when the time comes, we the people will act accordingly. Some people viciously attack us that we are NPP propaganda machine and the situation in BF is different from Ghana. Let us take a step back -- President Blaise misguided step to extend the constitution and stay in power was just the trigger -- But the underlying reasons the people rose up was because of economic depravation, high level of youth and graduates unemployment & lack of opportunities, high level of corruption, abuse of power and hopelessness. Are these problems not the same we face in our country? We shouldnt allow President Mahama and any other future leaders of this country to cloak and hide behind the constitution that they were elected, so we should wait for them to finish their terms in office. The term of the office doesnt matter. When you push people to the wall, they will rise up and take back the power that rightly belongs to them. We have gone through numerous demonstrations, people have put on red shirts and dresses and we have argued, but the problems still persist. NPP came into power and they plundered state resources - Create-Loot-Share and NDC is doing the same thing. We have designed systems and structures in place that encourage corruption and cant hold anyone responsible for their actions. Both NPP and NDC politicians are like pals; they pamper themselves by looting while majority of the people continue to live in abject poverty. The Create-Share-Loot has been going on for very long time and nothing is being done to lift most Ghanaians out of poverty. It is been 57 years since we gained independence and our founders had so little, but they were able to achieve so much. But look around you and we are still struggling to fix the basic fundamentals of the country - roads, water & sewage, food supply, power & electricity, lack of opportunities for the youth and many more -- we cant get anything right. Our politicians have taken us for granted and fools for a very long time because they know that that we will keep saying - Yen Fama Yame, (let us leave up to God) Enhye Whee Wai (do not worry)....Ebe ye yie wai.....(everything will be okay). These syndromes have made Ghanaians like zombies. We are too complacent and keep complaining but cant stand up and fight for our rights and tell these politicians that enough is enough! Where are we going as a country and how long are we going to wait. Our politicians are visionless, strategyless, clueless and dont give a damn about anything!. There is no sense of direction in the country and we keep fooling us that we have some kind of better agenda. It is hard time we hold our politicians accountable. We voted them into power, not the other way around and if they cant deliver on their promises, we have every right to take that power from them by all necessary means. And this is what the people of Burkina Faso have shown to Africa and the rest of the continent. We stand by the people of Burkina Faso. We salute and applaud your Bravery, your Courage and your Determination to get the power that rightly belongs to you! Remember Freedom is valued only when it is paid for by blood...... Aluta Continua!
