We agree with Victoria, one of our much-valued contributors. This is horrible. Maybe turn the volume down if youre offended by swearing - and dont watch at all if watching a dog being handled roughly will give you nightmares. This is appalling. Most of you know Im filming with an amazing K-9 Unit at the moment who treat their dogs with the utmost respect. You can imagine my horror when I saw this video showing a K-9 officer from an unrelated unit not just abusing his dog, but also putting a stain on his profession. This is not how a police K-9 (let alone any other dog) should EVER be treated, regardless of training styles. Please be warned this is hard to watch and the language is very bad but I decided to share it on this page in the hope that this never happens again, even behind closed doors. The latest update is that the K-9 has been removed from the handler pending investigation.
