We all accept that life it self has no meaning or a purpose so we choose to give our own purpose to it. But then the question arises, if there is no meaning and purpose is it worth continuing it by bringing more people in to existence. Given the fact we have no idea how their lives will turn out. There are immense sufferings in the world every minute every second. If we look at it in a realistic way, there is more suffering in the world than there is happiness. So is it moral to bring people in to existence without their consent in order to fulfill our own needs when we have no idea how their lives will turn out or what kinds of experiences they will face in their live which we imposed on them. Non existence doesnt hurt anybody. But when we bring more people in to existence they will be open to infinite number of sufferings. Happiness is good, but the need to happiness arise if some one is there to need it. Is there any need to create something which has needs ?
