We all condemn portion of the culture that contradicts with ISLAM such as bribing, eating interest, telling lies, extravagance in marriages or to spend for showing up etc.. Yet most of us also claim that they cant survive without bribing or eating interests or telling lies in the society. By Survival they often meant progress in terms of profession or accumulating wealth. My question to them is How can anyone change the culture by becoming the part of the same culture, they condemn? How can we change culture if we do same thing we condemn seeing others doing? We should remember that this life is a test. ALLAH is watching our action. Real life is hereafter. we should be like early disciplines that didnt compromise the cultured prevailed during the time of Prophet Mohammad saww. For example., Bilal rau didnt give up by accepting the terms and conditions of His master who demanded from Him that If He just didnt abandon Islam but only curse Mohammad saww, He would set Bilal rau free from torture. Bilal rau replied, There is nothing between Truth and falsehood.
