We all have a lot on or plates, busy lives. I get that. But Im realizing that I cant have people in my life who will not acknowledge that their actions were hurtful...especially when they know I would always have their back about things that clearly impact their lives. People who defend themselves before truly trying to understand anothers perspective and denying they said and did things that were in fact said and done. Especially when the moment in time meant nothing to them, but meant something to me. I guess my expectations are too high. I refuse to lower them and put myself down just to raise someone else up.
