We all have different motivations in life... but it is important to understand where that motivation comes from. Is it fear or is it love? I was raised in a Christian family and was taught that we must love our neighbour as ourself and that we are to take care of Gods creation. I am no longer a creationist as in the biblical sense but I do believe that if we fail to protect our precious natural heritage then we risk human extinction. I also believe that we must protect the worlds most vulnerable because ...but for the grace of God there go we. I therefore choose not to stay silent when I see my own government undermining these basic principles. Australia is renigging on its international responsibilities both environmentally and humanitarian. We are being manipulated by the greed of the top end of town and hard right extremist agendas that would put money ahead of all to the gain of a few and the detriment of the many. My posts are my personal opinions and commentry on what I see as happening. Agree or disagree... it is your choice but when you treat me as less than because of them it is more a reflection on you than it is on me...I can only ever be true to myself... your protests and teeth gnashing cannot change that. What I suggest is that if you dont like something I post... move on its my page and I am me...I will not change to make you comfortable. If you dont like it you have options... use them!
