Conrad Mess, was born in Zaragoza Spain and later identified his talent as a film maker in his late 30’s, but without formal training, he forged ahead to accomplish his wish and dreams of film making in February 2011 by debuting his first short film as an amateur titled ‘AVENGER LOVE’ youtu.be/fH5bRbg-YLM with a home video camera. Conrad’s diligence and consistent humble affiliation with other talented, creative, passionate and dedicated film makers, created an opportunity that led to a US producer inviting him to participate in the ‘Pray for Dawn Teaser’ Trailer Competition. Conrad then summoned up courage to proceed into filming and premiering his second short film titled ‘THE FIXER youtu.be/w4FRujDeqFw which was unbelievably but now believably filmed with his understanding, patient and dear wives iPhone. This propelled Mr Mess to shoot his third short film with Adi Spektor titled ‘THE RUSSIAN ROULETTE’ youtu.be/W1S6MkqcOZk as a result of the networking link, provided to him by Ruben Kasantsev (Founder of The iPhone Film Festival). Conrad’s journey continued to blossom in the form of an invitation to screen his short film ‘The Fixer’ and the teaser of his film ‘The Russian Roulette’ at the 2012 Macworld in San Francisco, along with other passionate film makers. Susy Botello of the S. Botello Productions and founder of the San Diego Mobile Film Festival also found the new “San Diego Mobile Film School” on the 4th of September 2012 and Conrad was honoured to be the Co-leader with Max Schleser. The aim and objective in developing this school is to create a structured syllabus and enable facilities to teach people with video tutorial workshops and masterclasses to everyone with the passion for creativity to enrol and punctually attend. Conrad gave his first iPhone film making master class in London UK on the 21st of September 2012 at the Smalls Film Festival.
