We all have myriad experiences that come our way and no persons joys or sorrows are more important than another. But sharing so others can celebrate or shoulder it with us, is part of authentic faith. So, shoulder this with us if you will. At 7:30am in Anchorage, AK., my dad is going under the knife for a fractured hip and arm. The doc will plate and pin both the hip and the arm. This wont be quick. These ops are risky for the elderly (which I still dont see dad as elderly). Dads not a young man (86) but hes been very strong as of late. Hes been a rock of encouragement and Im hoping God still has him here for another good stretch. Dad is in Gods grip of grace - the ultimate win-win. And in the tension of deteriorating bodies, God calls us to pray. Thanks for shouldering this with us.
