We all hurt those we love. We act selfishly in fear and in greed. So many people have told me that I am such a good person. That I am the most loving person they have met, but its bullcrap. None of us are truly good people; we all sin every single day, we all hurt those around us every day, especially those we love. For all those Christians reading this, have you emptied your hearts of what is worldly? Have you completely surrendered? It is only in the Lord that we may be complete. Empty your hearts, pick up your cross, and run to His throne. Luke 12:25-34 English Standard Version (ESV) 25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[a] 26 If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,[b] yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! 29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. 30 For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 Instead, seek his[c] kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32 “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. For what does it matter what clothes we wear, what school we go to, how much money we have, what we own, where we live? Do not fear in letting go of what is in this world, for it will be long gone by the time you are dead. But your actions? Those will last forever. Well up your worth not in Gods gifts, but in God himself and how you treat His children. Matthew 19:24 English Standard Version (ESV) 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” https://youtube/watch?v=BQ0JS9w6a1c
