We all know and remember Tom Hanks, that goofy funny guy. But he has, from, that funny, goofy guy, grown into one of the most powerful media icons of "our" generation. Like Ron Howard...you know...Ritchie Cunningham, or Opie Taylor... I grew up on John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Andy Griffith, Captain Kangaroo, and Blinkies Fun Club. Oh wait...I used to watch Bozo the Clown. Blinkie kind of freaked me out... Mr. Eastwood, Mr. Howard, Mr. Hanks...you all 3 have done right by yourselves, and done right by your industry and the american people. Thank you
