We all know how difficult it can be to make new friends and even more difficult to keep them. Its no different with facebook. Lately, Ive been trying to expand my list of friends to include foreign counties such as Davis, Weber and Box Elder (where is that?) just to name a few. Is it hard for me to ask someone, especially from another county, to add me as a friend? Youre damn right it is! And then to try and break into their close knit circle of friends is yet another challenge. When I see their threads already in progress, my heart starts to race, my throat gets dry and my stomach gurgles as I contemplate whether or not to break in. And when I finally drum up the courage to do so, I swear I can feel their annoyance and hear them whisper to each other, Who the hell is this and whats he doing trying to get in on our thread? Friends, lets all try to make it a little easier on the newcomer. When you see one breaking into YOUR thread, try to make him or her feel welcome by at least introducing yourselves and then spending a minute or two getting to know them. It will be much appreciated.
