We all know how easy it is to take well, the easy route. Weve all done it, mostly because its the comfortable way. We get comfortable. Change is difficult. I know as well as anyone how difficult change can be. Right now I definitely know first hand. Change in life, whether it be job, move, health, family can be challenging but yet rewarding. No matter what change will be a part of our lives throughout our whole lives, so we might as well embrace it. That being said, it also comes back to goal setting. If we set our goal out there and make small goals to climb along the way, then not only are we learning along the way but were also feeling great because once we complete a task it motivates us to keep moving forward. If youre currently trying to make changes to your health, I encourage you to write down your small goals along the way. I encourage you to embrace the fact that you will get sidetracked, you will make mistakes (that youll learn from), you will want to quit. But DONT QUIT! Keep moving forward. Pick up where you left off. Dust yourself off and go. Were all human and although change can be difficult its all part of our growth in life. Growth is so necessary as we mature and we gain wisdom in ourselves, our bodies, our minds. I certainly know that I am experiencing many different emotions these past several weeks; not all good either. Ive had my difficult moments since being here in SD. I know its exactly where I belong and I will continue to climb and move forward. This weekend I will be writing down my new goals and steps toward achieving those goals. Dont settle in your life. Live your life to the fullest. Embrace change. Set goals. Be your best you. There is only one YOU in this world - let the world see your best version! You have to set goals that are almost out of reach. If you set a goal that is attainable without much work or thought, you are stuck with something below your true talent and potential ~Steve Garvey
