Another one of the cars in our Garage Affair family will soon be filling up with Ethanol goodness and we began to research outlets that sell it nearby. We also approached both United and Caltex and questioned the future installation and production of E85 and E-flex pumps around the Sydney metro area. To our surprise, Caltex has in fact confirmed they will no longer be installing any additional E-Flex pumps and in fact will be removing the ones available in the near future. Caltex are disappointed with the sales of E-Flex and do not see this product as a viable market option. The next pump to be removed will be Pendle Hill Caltex. Whilst there are employees of Caltex fighting to keep E-Flex, it looks destined to be removed. What are your thoughts? Do you think there is a bright future for E-Flex?
