We all need to introspect – do we have the moral right to pay tribute to Sardar Patel. The best way of getting justice is rendering justice to the adversary. Do our parties and leaders practise it? Parties practice reckless speech, divisive politics, blaming others, and lack of mutual respect. Restraint, Reconciliation, Responsibility and Respect are the foundations of a harmonious society. That is the only way. AP crisis is an example. An eye for an eye makes all of us blind. We need to reconcile & find a solution. Hating each other, using harsh language, imitating the worst features of each other are not going to take us any where. Intolerance, lies, failure to render justice to others, rousing fears, blaming others’ for our problems – all led to AP crisis. Whatever happens, we are all Indians. Where are spiritual leaders? Where are artists and writers? Why are they silent? Gurus, Saints, Stars, writers – please speak up. Do not take sides on politics & division of state. But they all need to promote harmony and reconciliation. Please remind people that we all share a language & culture. Whatever happens, we will remain a family, and we share a common destiny. China created at its peak 200 million jobs in 20 years. India created just 2 million jobs in 20 years in industry. The greatest measure of justice & poverty alleviation is job creation.
