We all need to overcome social challenges that confront some citizens in Nigeria! The first is, debilitating amnesia, which causes some citizens inability to recall events they have consciously witnessed! Such morbid persons tend to forget anything, and mistake James Ibori for James Bond! In another vein, some citizens suffer from selective amnesia! These amnesiacs remember only events that suit their nefarious interests! They can praise armed bandits to spite an innocent imam or pastor, by pretending to see the rogue as capable of repentance and better clerical skills! Any events that can emancipate them from continuous servitude are ignored and blanked out of their porous memory! There is another pathetic category of citizens who vividly remember useful events, but because of huge integrity deficits, àtenuje, (avarice, long throat, or lotus-eating), they crash their intellectual RAM-gigabytes and wallow in puddle, with social swine! In the process, their pearls of memory become corrupt unwittingly! There is dire need to jog the memories of the amnesiacs and stabilize the memory fluctuations in those whose cases are still redeemable!
