We all talk about hypocrites, but when are we going to acknowledge our own hypocrisy? In my own life recently I have realized I talk more about God than I talk to him, and I have so much great advice for other Christians but when it comes to my life I end up asking the same questions and committing the same sins. Living a holier than thou lifestyle is NOT what God has called us to as Christians! He calls us to spread word of his coming Judgment, but also word of his love and grace. Let us not become the type of people that God has warned us to stay away from in 1 Timothy 3:5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! (New Living Translation). Again, I realize that this problem starts with me and must be corrected within before seeking others to condemn, so Im starting with me, and I am asking you to do the same.
