We all went to see A Million Ways to Die in the West today except - TopicsExpress

We all went to see A Million Ways to Die in the West today except Dad because there was some kind of white cedar tree down and that was more important. But I guess it gives me a good excuse to take him and see the movie again. I freely admit to being a big Seth MacFarlane fan and I thought the movie was pretty funny even though the plot was pretty standard. We went to the second showing of the day with around fifteen people in the theater (I think). Its weird how some people would laugh really hard at some things while others laughed harder at other jokes. It did get my Mom to laugh out loud which is actually pretty hard to do. She finds lots of things funny but she has just never been one of those people who laughs out loud at stuff. I even caught her lightly applauding once so I know she liked it. Credit to my brother for being the first to recognize Baltimoras Tarzan Boy. As soon as he started laughing I recognized it and then I started laughing and I think most of the audience didnt get that joke. And most of the crowd seemed older than me so it wasnt a theyre too young to get it thing. I feel like I need to see it again to catch all the references I may have missed. The cast list said Ewan McGregor was in it but I dont remember seeing him. I think I caught everyone else, though. There was one part where Seth MacFarlane made a few jokes in a row and the guy two rows behind me said, Giggity. And that cracked me up. I even turned around so he knew I heard him. I also love that theres a Family Guy episode that makes fun of Liam Neeson playing an American cowboy and yet, here he is doing exactly that. Love it. I know I complained that the trailer gave away one of the cameos and I still wish they hadnt included it. But Im so glad they hid the one at the end of the movie (after it says The End but before the credits). As soon as I heard the voice I said, Oh, God. And then I just started laughing because I knew what was coming. So funny! Mom didnt know the reference because she hasnt seen that movie so we had to explain it to her in the car.
