We all woke up with a bang on our 5th day in Oman with a false fire alarm ringing through the hotel at 4.45am! It wasnt so bad for us as we had a 5am wakeup anyway to head to the Opera House for 2 hours training on the arena and hopefully before the heat of the day set in. We had a constructive training, however the sun came up very early on and it was intense, sooooooooo hot! We trained to our limit then it was back to the hotel for breakfast and onto the Oman Royal Guards gymnasium for 3 and a half hours of constructive structure training. Back to the hotel for a late lunch, some rest time and then up and away again to the Opera House for another rehearsal where they ran through the whole show. Yet again it was a hot humid night and a very sweaty finish! There were some major improvements in parts of the display which Colleen scored us a 7.6 for, but still work to be done prior to opening night in a couple of days time. Colleen, Shona and Christina have arranged a tour to see some of the sights of Muscat, Oman tomorrow, so we will be having the morning off before getting straight back into it!!
